Biography & Background
I am Asit Purohit, a physics educator and founder dedicated to reimagining STEM education through computational modeling and interactive simulation.
Having graduated from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, my academic training instilled a deep appreciation for first-principles thinking in physics and mathematical physics. Over the years, I have taught hundreds of students, guided conceptual problem-solving, and created interactive tools that bridge the gap between abstract mathematical formulas and visceral physical intuition.
Current Venture: MetaMotion
I am the founder of MetaMotion (metamotion.in), an interactive physics simulation platform that runs GPU-accelerated classical and modern physics simulations directly in the web browser.
Areas of Focus & Expertise
Classical mechanics, electromagnetism, vector fields, and thermodynamics taught with rigorous derivations and visual geometric insights.
Numerical integrators (Verlet, Runge-Kutta), Lagrangian dynamics, and high-performance WebGL simulation engines.
